IPC APEX EXPO 2023 - Recap
The IPC Apex Expo 2023 was held this past January and attendees were greeted to a sneak peek of our newest products from HAKKO. Showcasing the floor was the recently released FX-805 Ultra Heavy-Duty Soldering Station, FX-100 RF Induction Heating Soldering Station with the new FX-1003 Micro Tweezers, and on display was the new FX-305 Digital Solder Pot. But the spotlight of the Hakko booth was the unveiling of the FX-971 and FX-972 Soldering Stations.
Two brand new soldering stations that are new generations of the FX-951 Soldering Station and the FM-203 Dual Port Soldering Station. The Hakko booth had a billboard style advertisement displaying both the new soldering station, as well as a main center display console which had the two stations illuminated in a lit halo. These two stations have not been released for viewing to the public yet and won’t be available until March 1st for the FX-971 and sometime later this year for the FX-972.
Those who attended were the first to get their hands on the new stations as the booth featured an activity that utilized the stations. A fun soldering DIY kit was built using the stations, which could then be pinned to their lanyards. We received positive reactions, and the stations were praised for their functionality, design, and interface.
Also released was a very first look at the new ATX Intelligent Torque Drivers from CHP (CHP is the tool line with service and support provided by American Hakko Products, Inc.) These torque drivers are the first series of intelligent drivers from the brand.
This new series of intelligent torque drivers allow the user to set multiple tightening strategies, where you are able to customize different tightening strategies for different tightening scenarios to achieve various quality requirements.
This product will also be available to the public beginning March 1st, 2023.
IPC APEX Expo will be moving to the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA for 2024. The expo is open to the public so if you wish to see and experience the latest products from Hakko, make sure you stop by.
