The HAKKO FR-4003 Ultra Heavy-Duty Desoldering Gun handpiece is designed to work with the FR-400
Desoldering Station. The handpiece operates between a temperature range of 660 °F - 940 °F through a
composite ceramic heating core and also features a solder collection chamber for efficient solder removal.

The Hakko FR-4003 Ultra Heavy Duty desoldering gun is specifically designed for difficult rework of extremely large mass components, such as high current inductor coils, heat sinks, large transformers, shields, and other connections where there is a significant amount of thermal inertia that must be overcome.
