University of Waterloo - WARG

"We are extremely grateful for your support this past year. Your contributions have played a vital role in the success of our organization and have allowed our students to continue learning, improving, and problem solving.
WARG competed at the AEAC (Aerial Evolution Association of Canada) Student Competition in Alma, Quebec. Our competition drone, Project Icarus, flew both competition tasks successfully.
Our students not only worked hard during competition, but throughout the entire season, and we are proud of our continued improvement and growth as a team.

On behalf of the Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group, we thank you once again for your contribution".

Spartan Racing

"We are extremely grateful for Hakko's support in the past couple of seasons and would like to extend our partnership. We use these products very heavily when manufacturing our powertrain and electronic components and prefer them over brands. "

Northeastern Electric Racing

Thank you for your generous donation to Northeastern Electric Racing! Your support allowed us to design, fabricate, and test a car that made us very proud at competition this past spring.

Your donation of new soldering equipment has significantly improved our workspace and enabled us to complete assembly and rework operations that were not previously possible. We strive for perfection in our assemblies, but that doesn’t always happen, so our new FR-301 desoldering gun has saved the day more than once. Our new soldering iron has also improved our workflow efficiency with its notably faster heating, and of course the safety improvement to our bench by adding a ventilation fan cannot be forgotten.

Your contribution has impacted all electrical projects, ranging from assembly of sensing and control PCBs, all the way to affixing voltage monitoring and fuses to our battery packs. We are proud to be equipping our space with some of the highest quality tools on the market and look forward to using them in the coming competition years!

Through it all, your logo has been proudly displayed on all NER promotional materials, competition shirts, and on the vehicle itself. Everywhere NER has gone, Hakko has gone, too!

On behalf of Northeastern Electric Racing, we want to thank you again for your contribution. We wouldn’t be able to do what we love without your company’s support. We sincerely hope that you continue to support our club in the future!

Electric Girls

"From the very beginning of Electric Girls, American Hakko have been HUGE supporters. Girls learn how to solder with their products within a day of starting our programs. Recently we were honored to have Kenta from @hakkousa join us in the classrooms and help teach girls how to level-up their soldering skill sets. Each Electric Girl camper AND staff hasd a blast getting to personally learn from Kenta. We truly appreciate all that Hakko has done for us over the years and this visit was icing on the cake!".

"Everyone give American Hakko a huge round of applause! Hakko puts the tools in our girls hands that they need to succeed. Together, we work to empower NOLA girls for a future of equality in STEM professions. THANK YOU Hakko!"

-Electric Girls, New Orleans

"We wanted to thank you again for your donation of soldering equipment! Your help greatly impacts our board development process. Since we were last in touch, our team has been hard at work on our eighth generation FSAE race car, REV7, which will be competing at the FSAE EV competition in June. Now, we are eager to share our finished car with you. This year, the unveiling event will take place on Friday, March 18th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at College Green on the University of Pennsylvania campus, with the official unveiling of the car itself taking place at 3:00pm."

Brocklehurst Middle School

"I would like to extend my thanks to you for your donation of Hakko Soldering Stations toward the Drone Club program at Brock Middle School. Your act of generosity and support for this program reflects our educational vision statement of nurturing growth, inspiring achievement and building community connections. I appreciate the privilege in working with your company to support and encourage young people to learn and grow in confident, motivated and well prepared young adults who we want to encourage so that they will make a positive difference. This goal can only be accomplished through a collaborative partnership, which includes not only educators and family, but also our community resources. We greatly appreciate your support."

University of Wisconsin - Madison, Wisconsin Racing Team

"Hakko’s quality products help us achieve incredible results when assembling and reworking our student designed boards. Their equipment is functional and so easy to use!"

"To cut to the chase, the WR-218 performed very well at FSAE Michigan and the team earned 8th place overall out of 120 of the best technical universities in the world. The team also earned 4th place in the design event of the competition, helped significantly by our powertrain, chassis, and aerodynamics validation, as well as our excellent electrical system design. The team also performed well in cost and business presentation events, earning the highest cost score of any of the top 10 teams and ranking in the top 15 overall for the first time in years.  It was a wild, wet and exciting competition and we are pleased with our performance and final result as we finished as the second highest American team. We would like to thank you again for your support this year."

We care and love to see future generations experience and achieve their electronic & tech project goals using our Hakko products.

St Stephen's Robotics

"Buying the best brand was focused on durability in an institutional setting.  Kids are rough on gear.  If I buy cheap, I buy every year. Of all the ones I tested, Hakko was by far the most sturdy."

-St Stephen's Episcopal School - Robotics

Oronos Polytechnique, Montreal

"I've had some time to play around with the FR-410 desoldering station and it's absolutely fantastic ! It's exactly what we needed right now.  It's also a much better experience to solder with the smoke absorber, I can't thank you enough for that ! The rest of the team is also really happy with the new equipment."

-Oronos Polytechnique - Montreal

Gardner Edgerton High School

"We cannot thank you and Hakko enough for donating this equipment to our program. My students are using any free time (as well as coming in during seminar and after school) to use the equipment to refine their soldering skills. This has energized my program and will provide valuable learning for years to come. "

-Gardner Edgerton High School, Marketing/Chromebook Tech Lab Teacher

"American Hakko recognizes the disproportionate representation of women in STEM, which is why they support our girls by putting empowering tools in their hands. Thank You Hakko! Together we're making a difference for future generations of girls everywhere." -Electric Girls, New Orleans

MIT Motorsports

"On behalf of the entire MIT Motorsports team, we would like to tell you how incredibly grateful we are for your support and generosity for our Model Year 2020 racecar project. Thanks to all of our dedicated sponsors, we were able to raise $125,000 in total for this cycle! In Model Year 2020, the team built a rear-wheel drive vehicle in record time, focusing on testing, reliability, and logical decision-making. We pushed for innovation in our water-cooled battery pack, increased aerodynamic system, and launch control systems. Although the season was cut short due to COVID-19, Model Year 2020 provided the team with a robust and reliable vehicle and infrastructure that can be polished further in the future. Thank you once more for your generous sponsorship over the last season. Your support is not something we take lightly and is very much appreciated by everyone connected with the MIT Motorsports club!"

Lorain County Community College, Elyria, OH

"The equipment and tips are great!  As their instructor, I like Hakko's equipment in my training lab.  The safety system that an operator can put their iron onto the cradle and the iron turns off is amazing, works great for our classes.  The speed at which the tip heats up and cools down is also incredible, we're able to train students faster and more efficiently with this equipment and we're happy to make sure student know they were trained on Hakko equipment. "

Blue Sky Solar Racing

"Here is the team celebrating at the finish line of the 2019 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. However, without your support, we wouldn't have gotten there, nor would've we been able to build our Gen X car. We are truly indebted to your generosity and value your collaboration. We love our soldering station! Thank You".
