FT-630 Wick Cutter

The FT-630 can cut most common sizes of wick, even when loaded with solder, and can also be used to pre-cut the wick to selected lengths for use. The enclosed cutting system collects the trimmings which mitigates debris on the workbench.

You can adjust the type of cut and the hold on the wick using the dial located on the face of the FT-630.

The debris tray can be found just under the cutters, this tray can be easily removed to discard wick trimmings.

You can change out the cutter by removing the hexagon wrench that is found on the underside of the FT-630. Inserting it into the gear hole and rotating it until the blades of the cutter open. Next insert the hexagon wrench into the access hole to push out the cutter.
