The Hakko FX-972 Dual-Port Soldering Station is a next-generation high-performance 200W soldering station that supports a wide range of new handpieces. With a minimal footprint design, the FX-972 allows multiple units to be stacked to conserve bench space and includes a new easy-to-read display that is more than 3 times larger than previous Hakko stations. Re-designed to be intuitive with new features such as an IR auto offset when using the FG-100B Tip Thermometer or FG-101B Station Tester, a preset mode that allows easy selection of up to 5 user programmable presets, 3-letter passcode lock for process control, and user selectable sleep temperature. The HAKKO FX-972 also includes a USB interface that allows the station to be set up, controlled, and monitored from a PC using the HAKKO Control Software that is included with the station.

These transducer drivers have an LED status indicator ring, use a 1/4” hex bit, a torque range of 2.4 to 50 (kgf-cm) with a max speed of 2000. The controller includes a network interface that stores and exports graph data, is user friendly and intuitive for easy set-up. LED backlight, the controller comes with either 1 or 2 ports for powering and controlling the ATX drivers. The large touchscreen interface allows the user to easily adjust the settings on the drivers for superior torque control.
